Artificial intelligence holds the key to a new era of innovation, one where computers begin to work intelligently on our behalf rather than under our command. Artificial Intelligence is the broader concept of machines being able to carry out tasks in a way that we would consider “smart”. Artificial Intelligence has been around for a long time – the Greek myths contain stories of mechanical men designed to mimic our own behavior. It’s an era where technology will become more intuitive, more conversational, and more intelligent, will enable businesses to better know and serve their customers in ways previously unimaginable, and ultimately help solve some of the planet’s biggest challenges. This new era of AI is driven by the combination of almost limitless computing power in the cloud, the digitization of our world, and breakthroughs in how computers can use this information to learn and reason much like people do.

The past decade has seen important advancements in computer science that enable software systems to compile and process new information to continually improve the way they function. This improved artificial intelligence is enabling computers to become an ever more powerful and valuable complement to human capabilities: improving medical diagnoses, weather prediction, supply-chain management, transportation, and even personal choices such as where to go on vacation or what styles of clothes to buy. With the advancement in AI, now we can park our car with a computer or switch off the light & fan of home even from the office. Also, there are new safety analysis solutions available as security systems for data management systems of computer events and analysis products such as “machine learning” to create representations to detect harmful or anomalous behavior within networks. The recent study conducted by a team of scientists at the London Institute of Medical Services where An artificial intelligence system has accurately predicted when patients with heart conditions will die, according to new results published in the journal Radiology. The AI was assigned 256 patients diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a type of high blood pressure which impacts the lungs and can cause dizziness, fainting, and shortness of breath. The AI predicted with 80 percent accuracy which patients would die in the next year. The average doctor’s accuracy is about 60 percent

Although artificial intelligence has become commonplace — most smartphones contain some version of AI, such as speech recognition — the public still has a poor understanding of the technology. As a result, a diverse cast of critics, driven by fear of technology, opportunism, or ignorance, has jumped into the intellectual vacuum to warn policymakers that, sooner than we think, AI will produce a parade of horrible outcomes. Unfortunately, their voices have grown so loud that we are nearing a tipping point where their narratives may be accepted as truth, which would create a real risk that policymakers will decide to ratchet back the pace of progress. In the recently concluded 25th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, there were several pervasive and pernicious myths coming in the light regarding AI. They include like AI will destroy most jobs, will destroy privacy, and will potentially exterminate the human race. While there has been an AI renaissance recently, if you think of it in terms of other eras of great advancement, we are in the mainframe stage, which is to say, early days of what will someday be pervasive and powerful technology. We need to evolve from mainframe, to PC, to mobile, and make AI accessible to all, to both uses and build on this technology because its potential is enormous.
In last few decades, the world has seen a landmark Industrial revolutionary innovation in AI still there is much more to achieve. AI’s potential goes far beyond computers that can play and win games. This technology will transform industries, from automotive to manufacturing, healthcare to education, agriculture, research and the public sector. Cities are getting smarter; cars can recognize and make decisions about the objects around them; an online support agent can hold a conversation with a human and successfully resolve issues; a manufacturing system can reason over vast quantities of historical data and accurately predict the future; a medical imaging system can assist a clinician to spot tumors more accurately. All because of the power of AI.
