In chemistry, there is no entity like NH2 only. It either exists as a positive ion or negative ion.
In both the cases, hybridization will be different.
Hybridisation can be find out by the formula 1/2 (V + M – C + A)
V = number of valence electron in central atom.
M = No of monoatomic atom connected to central atom.
C = Cationic Charge and A = Anionic Charge.
In case of NH2+
Hybridisation = 1/2(5+2-1) = 3 = Sp2
In case of NH2-
Hybridisation = 1/2(5+2+1) = 4 = Sp3
