First of all, Happy Republic Day to you all. We’ve been republic since the enforcement of our Constitution, aren’t we? And when did that happen? Are we celebrating 70th Republic Day or 69th? Most of us are aware of these facts or some of us know more than that. But, do we know everything? Or say most of the things about our Republic Day? I guess not. So, here are some cool and important information about the Indian Republic Day:

  1. The first thing we must know is that it’s the 70th Indian Republic Day Today and not the 69th. The first Republic Day was observed on 26th of January 1950 and since then, on the very day, the whole nation celebrates the event.
  2. The term ‘Republic’ has been mentioned in the Preamble of the Constitution of India. It denotes that The Constitution gives the citizens of India the power to choose their own government and paves the way for democracy.
  3. Every year, a chief guest is invited for the ceremony. The first chief guest in 1950 was President Sukarno, Indonesia’s first President. The Chief Guest on 70th Republic Day of India 2019 is “Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa”, the fifth and current President of South Africa. He was invited by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during the G20 summit held in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. The reason for him being invited is because India is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi who had very close links with the people of South Africa.
  4. The Nation did not have a fixed venue for the ceremony initially. It was held at Irwin Amphitheatre (now Dhyan Chand National Stadium), Kingsway (Rajpath), Red Fort and Ramlila Maidan. Finally in 1955 Rajpath was chosen as the permanent venue.
  5. A salute of 21 guns and the unfurling of the Indian National flag was done by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India on January 26, 1950. Since then, it has been the custom that the national flag is unfurled by the President of India before the Republic Day Parade and is greeted by a 21 gun salute.

  6. The importance of the date 26th January can be marked way since 1930. The idea of a republican nation were first discussed at the Lahore session of the Indian National Congress on 31st December 1929. Under the presidency of Pt. Jawarhar Lal Nehru, the meeting took a pledge to mark January 26 as “Independence Day” in order to get the dream of complete independence from the British fulfilled.
  7. The famous Christian Hymn written by Henry Francis Lyte, ‘Abide With Me’, set to music by W.M. Monk, and very close to Mahatma Gandhi (his personal favourite hymns), is one of the important part of the ceremony.
  8. One of the significant developments in India took place on January 26th, 1965. On the 16th Republic Day, Hindi was declared the national language of India.
  9. In the 67th Republic Day parade French Army soldiers and French Army Band took part. This marked the first time since the beginning of the parade in 1950, that a foreign army contingent marched down the Rajpath during the Republic Day parade.
  10. On the eve of every Republic Day, the President of India greets the nation. On the very first Republic Day, the then President of India said: “We must re-dedicate ourselves on this day to the peaceful but sure realization of the dream that had inspired the Father of our Nation and the other captains and soldiers of our freedom struggle, the dream of establishing a classless, co-operative, free and happy society in ‘his country’. We must remember that this is more a day of dedications than of rejoicing – dedication to the glorious task of making the peasants and workers the toilers and the thinkers fully free, happy and cultured.”

The 70th Republic Day showcases the victory of a nation which was enslaved for centuries but never lost its urge to rise from the hardest of difficulties. Today, India stands united against all odds and celebrates festival of democracy, liberty, fraternity and equality.

In the words of our President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, “Our society has shown great regard for those, whether individuals or institutions, who devote themselves to people’s welfare and go beyond the call of duty. The concept of seva, of devotion to public service and to the broadening of the ambit of justice, must get its due. Well-intentioned contributions of individuals, of groups of people, of institutions, whether public or private, of society at large, or for that matter of the government, must be acknowledged and appreciated.”[i], Kailasha Foundation once again wishes you all A Happy Republic Day.

Jai Hind!

“Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.”

– Groucho Marx

These lines portray the perfect picture of the two – a book and a dog. They blend together to provide a human, a social being the wholeness of affection and wisdom.

Books are undoubtedly capable of being called a man’s best friend. They impart knowledge. Never counter question you. Never betray you. Never leave you rather we humans choose to leave.

“Books are the quietest and the most constant of friends. They are the most accessible and the wisest of counselors and the most patient of teachers.”

– Charles W. Eliot

But books are non-responding. The elements of love, care, concern, and affection lack when we talk about books.

And a dog? This loyalty holder showers unconditional , unquestionable love which is a central need in a man’s life.

Humans have this tendency to grow with time, they move on from their griefs (mostly) and adjust to whatever conditions fall, unlike dogs whose loyalty knows no bounds. It is unconditional and forever.

Dogs are those beautiful creatures who cannot be judged in the name of affection. These furry animals never drain a man with an emotional wreck, their love creates a much-needed balance in a man’s life.

They teach us what loyalty is, what love is. Regardless of their speech prowess, they know how to  reciprocate.

Dogs’ loyalty facts certainly show that they seem to have a natural instinct to be loyal to humans. This is because they are pack animals and long to belong to a pack. Much like humans, it can be said that no dog is an island. For a loyal dog, their master’s family is their pack and they adopt them as their own.

Loyalty in a pack is crucial.

A dog’s life revolves around this simple fact: they love and want to be loved. They want to be part of a pack, contribute to their pack and protect their fellow pack members. This is what makes them the most loyal friends and constant companions.

Here are 6 true stories of dogs who took loyalty to the next level:

2.Bud Nelson : First Transcontinental copilot

Bud Nelson accompanied his master Dr. Horatio Nelson Jackson on this miraculous journey. Our hero not only traveled along but Also completed this in a span of just 63 and a half days from San Francisco to New York City before highways and service stations actually changed the American landscape.

The sled dogs Balto and Togo led the team for 5 and a half days covering 674 miles saving lives. The relay sled ran from Nenana to Nome.

This happening became an inspiration for the annual Iditarod sled dogs race.

5.Bobbie, the wonder dog:  A 2,800 mile reunion

Bobbiemaster got lost on a family vacation in Illinois in 1926. Bobbie was gone for just over traveled months, when he turned up at the family home in Silverton, Oregon. His grave features a plaque and dog house at the Oregon Humane Society as well as a lovely mural.

The journey of KFDN.

“The journey of thousand miles begins with a single step”
– Lao Tzu

Relating to this quote, the first step taken by KFDN was just before two years, on this same day.

The journey wasn’t easy but our intention gave us immense courage to forge forward for the welfare of the society. This noble idea of educating the Needy without demanding a single penny in return came from our core members.

While sitting together after their lectures, they just contemplated about how social media can be an asset to help the students. From solving queries over WhatsApp, this idea is now extended with 37 members running after a single dream – “Kailasha Foundation”

By making an equipped team of subject experts, we have tried to answer all the education and career related queries within twenty four hours. Our supreme motive was to guide the students by building their confidence to crack various competitive exams by reforming enthusiasm and determination in them. We have provided provisions of practice session to let our students know, how to write, what to write and what not to write. Queries, informative articles, counseling, quizzes and even free courses are provided to keep the students updated. We have published around 336 daily quizzes. And except these, we provide quizzes based on politics, law, biology and sports as well.

We get queries on different subjects such as history, law, mathematics, physics, Quantitative ability, Reasoning, SSC and banking, UPSC and State PSC’s. There are 1988 active users of our website whose enormous trust and support has inspired and motivated us throughout.

With the first ever batch we have tasted success. With a team working day and night, we have been criticised by many. This couldn’t be a drawback so we took it as a source of our motivation to work harder than ever. We have a number of students who have raised our name with their brilliant academic performance in the field of commerce.

We have started up with CA-CPT Foundation course, CAT, NEET, SSC classes through Google classroom, YouTube video (lectures), Facebook Live for tips and question/answer session. In fact, we have been contacted to bring up our own app for better connection and we will look into it as soon as possible.

Be with us and we will stand by you no matter what. We want to create a better India, a new India, full of education, purpose and development. We want to lead our country into the path of wisdom and enlightenment. As it is said, age is just a number! And KFDN has turned 2 today with deeds, of a big kid. Our intention and dedication will be the same as now in the coming days. We have gained a lots of love and achievements and there is a lot more to come.

Thank you for being a part of us and making us a part of you.

Do you have a start-up plan, and the idea, and all of a sudden you wonder, “How?”, “From where will I get all the resources and a good workplace?” If yes, then you are at the right place.

In this era of entrepreneurs, the owners or managers of business enterprises who, by risk and initiative, attempt to make profits, where people are capable of reaching the heights of the sky but many aren’t able to because of lack of resources and some place to start their work.

Keeping this problem in mind, a whole new start-up ecosystem for the young entrepreneurs is provided by these centres called incubation centres.

Incubation centres are spaces provided by companies or universities for start-ups, for new root ideas to be catered. Just like eggs are incubated by hens in order to produce healthy chickens, the start-ups are incubated in these business incubation centres where they get support to develop their business before hatching into the market.

The National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) defines business incubators as a catalyst tool for either regional or national economic development.

NBIA categorizes their members’ incubators by the following five incubator types:

  • academic institutions;
  • non-profit development corporations;
  • for-profit property development ventures;
  • venture capital firms, and
  • combination of the above.

Incubation centres operated by universities cater for ideas that take root while students are still studying to bridge the gap between rough concepts and fully-fledged businesses able to step into a commercial environment. The advantages of these companies are that there are a ready-made network of advisors and peers to help them if and when needed.

Entrepreneurs who wish to enter a business incubation program need to apply for admission. Acceptance criteria vary from program to program, but in general, only those with feasible business ideas and a workable business plan are admitted. It is this factor that makes it difficult to compare the success rates of incubated companies against general business survival statistics.

Now the question arises, “Who pays rents for these spaces and the resources provided?”

About one-third of business incubation programs are sponsored by economic development organizations. Government entities (such as cities or counties) account for 21% of program sponsors. Another 20% are sponsored by academic institutions, including two- and four-year colleges, universities, and technical colleges.

In many countries, incubation programs are funded by regional or national governments as part of an overall economic development strategy. In the United States, however, most incubation programs are independent, community-based and resourced projects. The U.S. Economic Development Administration is a frequent source of funds for developing incubation programs, but once a program is open and operational it typically receives no federal funding; few states offer centralized incubator funding.

Rents and/or client fees account for 59% of incubator revenues, followed by service contracts or grants (18%) and cash operating subsidies (15%).

The incubation centres help the entrepreneurs with guidance and mentorship, networking, and costs of operation.

The only drawback possible is that working in an incubation centre could be noisy and distracting due to the other people around.

So, if any of you wants to do be an entrepreneur, has some perfect B-Plan and are ready for the start-up but don’t know where to start and how, just go for these incubation centres, work hard, and come out with flying colors. Make your dreams come true.

Have you ever heard these kinds of phrases?

  • I want to go Amsterdam.
  • I want to go to the top of the Mount Everest.
  • I want to see the Northern Lights.
  • I want to ride a mechanical bull or bungee jump.
  • I want to walk along the beach in the moonlight.

Every one of us has such kind of list, which includes the task which we wanted to do at least one time in our whole span of life.

This list is called “Bucket-List”.

A more formal definition of the Bucket list is “a list of things which a person wants to achieve or experience or do before reaching a certain age or say before dying.

A bucket list can be for a terminally ill patient. For e.g., If you know that at a certain age you will die, then what are the things which you really wanted to do before dying will be called as the bucket list.

So, simply put all your wishes, goals, dreams, and aspirations that you want to accomplish in your lifespan into a list and kudos! Your bucket list is ready.

The basic meaning of bucket list is to carry a track record of your goals and then take necessary steps to achieve them before a certain age or death and consequently maximizing the incredible experience of life.

Bucket List Origin

There was a movie released in 2007 named “The Bucket List” from where this term gained its popularity. In Indian cinema, we can relate this term with the wishes of “Shraddha Kapoor” in movie “Ek Villain”.

There is a phrase “Kick the bucket” which was used in middle ages when the execution was done by usually hanging on the rope and the executioner would “Kick the bucket”. One may link the term bucket list from there too.

What really goes on the list and what not

The bucket list is different from person to person. It is nothing but a personal journey between you and your goals. This list reflects what one really desires in his/her life, what are one’s ambitions.

However, the list does not include your daily household works like bringing grocery from the market or washing the utensils in the kitchen before sleeping. The list is different from the tasks which we usually do and the ambitions we have in life. Washing utensils or cooking dinner or bringing grocery is not one’s ambition but these are the tasks which one do on daily basis, however, cooking for your beloved any specific dish (And you don’t know cooking) can be on the bucket list.

There are various synonyms one can use for the bucket list, some of them can be

  1. Life goals
  2. Things to do in life
  3. Things for Incredible life
  4. Goals to achieve
  5. Ambitions from life

You may have your own synonyms for this list. And if you don’t have the list, then my sincere advice is to make one such list and try to do everything possible to complete the tasks mentioned in the list. Because then, on the last day of your life, you will not have any qualms.

Remember these lines from a Bollywood song:

“कब्र पर मेरे सर उठाकर खड़ी हो जिंदगी, ऐसे मरना है मुझे” (at the time of death, my grave should be proud of me)

For this prepare your bucket list and start achieving what you really desire for.

All the best.

Education is the sword which can cut through all problems of life.Learning helps human to lead a Civic life.On the contrary, Without education, human is just like a bird without wings. Education

A person who does not study has no advantage over the person who can’t study and the quote “An idle mind is the devil workshop is absolutely correct .”

Education need not be purely academic and may include reading for leisure or as a passion for literature, philosophy, art, politics, economics, or even scientific research. Moreover, Education helps you understand yourself better, it helps you realize your potential and qualities as a human being. Addition to this, It helps you to tap into latent talent, so that you may be able to sharpen your skills.

Education is not only about studying and getting good marks. Eventually, It is really a means to discover new things which we don’t know about and increase our knowledge. With the help of education we are able to get suitable employment and then you are able to earn yourself. In this way, education gives us financial support also and we will feel financially independent also.

The more knowledge we get, we grow and develop more in the life. Being well educated never only means to earn certificates and good salary from the recognized and reputed organisation companies or institutions however it also means to be a good and social person in the life. It helps us to determine whether something is good or bad for us and other persons related to us.

The first purpose of getting a good education is being a good citizen and then being successful in personal and professional life. We are incomplete without a good education because education makes us right thinker and correct decision maker. In such a competitive world, education has become a necessity for human beings after food, clothe and shelter. It is able to provide solutions to all problems; it promotes good habits and awareness about corruption, terrorism, and other social issues among us.

“ learning is a perennial process and only a learner knows the true essence of learning”.

Education plays its continuous role in our daily life. Education means a lot in everyone’s life as it facilitates our learning, knowledge and skill. It completely changes our mind and personality and helps us to attain the positive attitudes. We must give importance to the education than other targets in life as it is the only source of real happiness in our life.

“Looking at the pace of advancement Soon will come a time when an uneducated will lead a life of abject misery”
