Success is no accident. It is work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and mostly the love of what you are doing or learning to do.
From an idea to an established institution – From a baby to a youth who is exploring the pathway of success – Kailasha Foundation has been one such example. It is often being said that it is easy to manage a well-known organization but it takes courage and luck beside an individual (or a group of individuals) who dare(s) to execute ideas. Well, I’m quite lucky enough to come across three such personalities who
dared to have a vision which everyone dreams of.
Three normal people from random places met because the destiny wanted so. Hard Work – this term is not enough, to sum up, the amount of hard work and labour they put in, on daily basis on each and every student.
Well, first of all, let me make of aware you what does this word Kailasha mean, it’s actually a combination of ‘Kailash’ and ‘Asha’, who are the proud parents of one of our founders. It all started at a tea stall when three friends dreamt of breaking the shackles of this stereotypical method of teaching. They made a point that what they had to face won’t be the story of the children in the coming generation.
The sole mission of this organization is to touch students in the remotest corner of the country.
As it is said that you don’t get a way out until you are lost, every organization has its ups and downs but the ones which bounce back to the difficulties get their share of recognition. There were hard times and of course difficulties were there, but strong will and determination got us out of the situation. Now they stand at a place where their name has become much familiar in students’ circles.
The idea to reach every student who got a query about any field covering every aspect of each subject distinguishes it from any organization. The society where every organization is busy in the multiplication of profits, this particular online portal aims at giving free open courses to every end user. Because teaching is not a profession it’s a responsibility.
We are always being told that in the corporate world, Boss is always right, but here I guess the idea of
a boss is non-existent rather people are engrossed in solving each and every query that comes on the
way. Here members are the word designated irrespective of how new one individual is. And members
do not achieve targets rather they contribute their part of thinking in every way one can. The result of that was very much visible when two of the regular students cleared their CA CPT exam and got 150+ and dedicated the same to this organization. This was the first visible achievement.
Of course, it is an under-development model. But the success and recognition it has achieved so far are commendable.Â
Kailasha has 300+ supporting members and 30+ regular contributing members along with professionally hired 5+ interns today. Kailasha has its reach to 20,000+ students of India and it has a huge following on social media. It is expanding daily and is achieving by contributing and learning daily.
As far as journey part is concerned, the following points are worth mentioning:
- From a WhatsApp number with reach up to just 15 students in 2014 when it was just a raw idea, It has come a long way to what you are looking at today in 2017.
- 18th September 2016 – a Facebook page was created and launched, that’s when it officially started
- 25th October 2016 was the launch date of YouTube Channel
- 16th December 2016 was the member hiring date
- May 2017 – Kailasha got registered as an LLP:Â Kailasha Online Learning LLP
- 14th January 2017 was Website launch date
- August 2017 – Kailasha hired interns from reputed institutions
- A team rather than organisation, where everyone gets his/her value
- A team where ‘member’ means ‘family member’Â
As this portal assures of response in less than 24 hours and sure solution too (if not unavoidable circumstances) it has well maintained the pace of query solving even after attaining much recognition among students and regular readers. As a personal opinion, I find it much encouraging for an individual with analytical skills to present his/her views regarding any matter of current importance. Lastly, I just want to say that it has multiplied its growth day by day not only through problem-solving but placing trust in the heart of every student.
Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is the success.
